Keystone Capital Announces Formation of Endure Critical Solutions
Keystone Capital Management, L.P. ("Keystone") is pleased to announce it has formed a new platform investment called Endure Critical Solutions (“Endure”), a national platform delivering vendor-neutral UPS, critical infrastructure, and battery lifecycle solutions for mission-critical operators. Endure Critical Solutions was formed through a strategic partnership with Quality Power Solutions, LLC (Madison, WI), which has served the UPS & critical power industry since 2002, and Power Storage Solutions, (Dallas, TX), a service provider in the DC, battery and energy storage market.
Endure represents a continuation of Keystone's platform investment and value creation experience in businesses providing regional services involving critical equipment and infrastructure. "Critical power is a large, fragmented market with durable demand drivers, and the Endure platform opportunity is a great fit with Keystone’s historical experience in similar business models," commented Jason Van Zant, Managing Director of Keystone. "We are proud to partner with these teams and look forward to building a national leader in critical power solutions."
Consistent with its typical investment philosophy, Keystone is pleased to partner with the leadership teams of both companies, who are retaining significant ownership in the Endure platform and will continue to lead the business going forward. Mike Bergum, co-owner of Quality Power Solutions, will serve as CEO of Endure.
"Joining forces under Endure allows us to deliver for our customers at a scale neither company could achieve individually," said Mr. Bergum. "Our customers keep the same local teams they trust, now backed by national coverage, deeper battery and storage expertise, and the resources of a well-capitalized platform. We are excited to build this with Keystone."
In addition, Keystone is pleased that Frank Monticelli, an experienced operator that Keystone sourced through its executive network, has joined Endure in a senior leadership role. Mr. Monticelli, who has 25+ years of history in the critical power industry, worked side-by-side with Keystone to form the Endure platform. Keystone has also recruited a board of directors of experienced operators in the power industry to guide the Endure platform.
Endure will be actively seeking acquisition opportunities across UPS and critical power services, battery and energy storage services, generator services, and power/utility testing and commissioning services. Parties with knowledge of relevant potential investment opportunities are encouraged to contact Keystone.
Terms of the transactions are not being disclosed. Senior debt financing was provided by CIBC and legal counsel was provided to Keystone by DLA Piper.
